Spooky season has barely gotten started, and some of this year’s best decor is already disappearing.
Case in point: Disney Store released matching Mickey and Minnie light-up jack-o’-lanterns for 2026, complete with flickering lights and “Boo to You” music. Mickey sold out online while we were putting this list together. Then Minnie followed him. At this point, we’re taking the hint!
So we went digging through the enormous Halloween collections at Disney Store, Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Target to find the pieces actually worth a second look. We skipped the endless parade of character inflatables and pulled out ten finds that feel a little more special—from Haunted Mansion residents who look ready to move into your front yard to a six-and-a-half-foot Maleficent who definitely isn’t interested in subtlety.
Prices and availability were accurate when we published this guide, but Halloween merchandise moves quickly. We’ll update links as items sell out.

BEST FOR HAUNTED MANSION DIEHARDS
The Haunted Mansion Graveyard Collection
Why settle for a generic foam tombstone when you can populate your yard with actual residents of The Haunted Mansion?
Lowe’s has a coordinated collection of graveyard blow molds inspired by the attraction, and Rosie Pig may be our favorite of the bunch. The 2.3-foot figure joins Requiescat Francis Xavier, Grandpa Marc, Miss Kitty, Big Jake and others, so you could start with one this year—or slowly build yourself an entire Haunted Mansion cemetery.
It’s exactly the kind of fandom decor we love: recognizable to people who know, delightfully weird even if they don’t, and much more interesting than sticking Mickey ears on an otherwise ordinary Halloween decoration.

BEST LITTLE HAUNTED MANSION FIND
The Hitchhiking Ghosts Musical Tombstone
Not every Halloween decoration needs to take over the front yard. This little Haunted Mansion tombstone brings the Hitchhiking Ghosts home in a much more manageable package—and still manages to squeeze in lights and music.
The 12-inch tabletop piece lights up with an eerie blue glow and plays an instrumental version of “Grim Grinning Ghosts.” At this size, it would be just as happy haunting a bookshelf or mantel as joining a larger Halloween display.
We especially like that it looks unmistakably Haunted Mansion without feeling like generic Disney Halloween merchandise. It’s a small piece, but anyone who knows Phineas, Ezra, and Gus will know exactly what they’re looking at.

Price: about $29.98 when we checked

BEST SHOWSTOPPER
Maleficent, in All Her 6½-Foot Glory
Home Depot’s Maleficent stands about six and a half feet tall and comes to life with five different movements: her head, mouth, eyes and staff all move—and even Diablo gets in on the act. She’s officially licensed, illuminated and imposing enough to become the centerpiece of an entire Halloween display.
At $279, she’s certainly a splurge. But if your Halloween decorating philosophy is less tasteful seasonal accent and more invite the Mistress of All Evil to loom over the neighborhood children, we have found your decoration.
Where to find it: Home Depot
Price: $279.00 when we checked

BEST SHELF-SIZED ATTRACTION TRIBUTE
Hitchhiking Ghosts in a Doom Buggy
For those of us who don’t have room for Maleficent in the foyer, Disney Store has shrunk The Haunted Mansion’s most iconic trio down to a much more manageable seven inches.
The fully sculpted figure puts Ezra, Phineas and Gus right where they belong: commandeering a Doom Buggy and looking for somebody to follow home. The translucent ghosts light up from within, making this one as much a tiny attraction tribute as a Halloween decoration.
It’s also one of those pieces that could very reasonably escape the Halloween storage bin and remain on a Disney fan’s shelf year-round. We won’t tell.
Where to find it: Disney Store
Regular price: $49.99 when we checked

BEST CUTE YARD FIND
Stitch & Angel Trick-or-Treat Inflatable
There are approximately eleventy-billion Disney character inflatables in the world, so an inflatable had to do something more than simply exist to make this list.
Stitch and Angel understood the assignment.
This three-foot Halloween inflatable actually gives the pair a proper trick-or-treat scene, complete with candy and a jack-o’-lantern. It’s compact enough that you don’t need an estate-sized lawn to display it, but recognizable enough to make the Stitch fans walking past your house very happy.
Cute, genuinely Halloween-y and considerably easier to store than a life-size animatronic villain. Sometimes practical wins.

Price: $69.98 when we checked

BEST “DID YOU STEAL THAT FROM THE MANSION?” FIND
The Haunted Mansion Gargoyle Candleholder
This might be the most Storyworld Supply thing on the entire list.
Disney Store’s sculpted gargoyle candleholder is based on the wonderfully dour gargoyles found inside The Haunted Mansion attraction. Instead of looking like merchandise about The Haunted Mansion, it looks like a piece of the Mansion somehow followed you home.
The gargoyle sits atop an ornate pedestal and holds two candles, so it can blend right into a moody Halloween mantel or bookshelf without screaming DISNEY MERCHANDISE from across the room.
Which, naturally, makes us like it even more.

BEST UNEXPECTED CHARACTER
Vampire Sulley Animatronic
Sulley has apparently decided that being a giant furry monster wasn’t Halloween enough.
Lowe’s nearly six-foot Vampire Sulley is motion activated, talks and uses character sound effects. He’s also one of the more substantial pieces in Lowe’s Disney Halloween collection—and at 5.7 feet high and 2.6 feet wide, “substantial” is doing some work here.
One important detail before you start mentally positioning him beside the front door: Lowe’s specifies that Sulley is for indoor use only. So this is a foyer, party or covered-indoor-display monster, not a leave-him-in-the-yard-all-October monster.
Still, we appreciate the commitment. Dracula cape looks surprisingly good on him.

Price: $299.00 when we checked

BEST WAY TO TURN YOUR YARD INTO THE ATTRACTION
Haunted Mansion Singing Busts Yard Scene
If a couple of Haunted Mansion tombstones aren’t quite enough for you, Home Depot will happily escalate matters.
This outdoor inflatable scene stretches about eight feet across and recreates the Mansion’s graveyard with the Singing Busts. The display combines music with a synchronized light show, so this isn’t simply a giant Haunted Mansion inflatable—it actually attempts to bring some of the attraction’s atmosphere into your yard.
Pair it with a few tombstones and suddenly the people walking past your house are getting suspiciously close to needing a Lightning Lane.
Where to find it: Home Depot
Price: $249 when we checked

BEST UNDER-$30 FIND
Mickey Mouse Halloween Pumpkin Light
Remember those sold-out Mickey and Minnie pumpkins at Disney Store?
We found another Mickey.
Target’s version is a 10-inch lighted Mickey pumpkin, currently priced at $29.99. It doesn’t have the music and multiple lighting modes of Disney Store’s new version, but it’s also ten dollars cheaper—and, importantly, you may still be able to actually buy it.
For somebody who wants a little classic Disney Halloween without committing $200 and half the garage to seasonal decor, this may be the sweet spot.
Where to find it: Target
Price: $29.99 when we checked

BEST DEEP-CUT DISNEY FIND
The Skeleton Dance Lantern
If your Disney knowledge extends far enough back that a cartoon from 1929 makes you say, Oh, I need that, Disney Store has apparently been waiting for you.
This metal lantern takes its inspiration from The Skeleton Dance, the wonderfully weird Silly Symphony short that sent four skeletons rattling around a moonlit graveyard nearly a century ago. The cutout skeletons wrap around the lantern, turning a piece of very old-school Disney animation into Halloween decor that doesn’t immediately announce itself as Disney merchandise.
And that’s probably what we like most about it. To most people, it’s a genuinely cool skeleton lantern. To the person who recognizes those particular dancing skeletons, it’s a nearly 100-year-old Disney reference hiding in plain sight.
Where to find it: Disney Store
Price: $59.99 when we checked

Don’t Wait Until October for the One You Love
If Disney Halloween 2026 has taught us anything already, it’s that “I’ll come back for it later” can be a dangerous shopping strategy.
The good news is that this year’s collections have plenty worth getting excited about, whether your idea of Halloween is a little Mickey pumpkin on the counter or an eight-foot stretch of Haunted Mansion graveyard taking over the lawn. Just maybe don’t wait too long to decide. Mickey and Minnie already tried to warn us.
